Eighteen intrepid golf teams raised £3,200 at a charity tournament.
The golf day at Woodbury Park Golf and Country Club raised money for Hospiscare.
Teams competed for a variety of prizes in competitions including for the longest drive and nearest the pin.
The teams then retired to the clubhouse to enjoy a dinner, prize draw and awards ceremony with prizes donated by individuals and businesses.
Lynne Elson, of Hospiscare Exmouth & Lympstone, said: “It was the wettest weather this year and caused our fundraising team some sleepless nights beforehand.
“In the end, a wonderful day was had by everyone under some blue skies - the players said the ball ran more slowly.
“One lady avoided the lake with her drive only to end up in a water-filled bunker and lost her ball!
“Everyone agreed, though, that it was all in a very good cause and the 18 teams, along with the tremendous support given by local businesses, made a magnificent £3,200 for us.
“Thank you so much.”
