A group of East Devon businesses are inviting people to join them for a charity golf day.

The East Devon Business Initiative is organising the event in aid of CLIC Sargent.

It will take place at Woodbury Park, where EDBI regularly meets, on Friday, May 10, starting at noon with a coffee and bacon roll in the conservatory.

This will be followed by 18 holes on the Oaks Championship course. Then from 7.30pm there will be a two-course dinner.

The cost per person is £40 for the bacon roll, golf and dinner, and only £20 per person for Woodbury Park members.

EDBI golf society chairman Richard Seymour, of Web Bite Design, said: “The EDBI’s chosen charity this year is CLIC Sargent, so we thought we’d combine our love of golf with our desire to raise as much money as possible for this incredibly worthy cause, which helps children and young people.”
