Going for Green

PUBLISHED: 07:00 18 May 2013

In the recent county council election, 269 Exmouth voters took the opportunity to vote for us and to vote Green.

We would like to thank them for their support. This was the first step on the road to establishing the Green Party as a viable option in Exmouth.

Whilst we had no candidates in 2009, only one in 2011, and two this year, we intend to have more for the district elections in two years’ time, so that every Exmouth resident will have the option of voting Green.

We have a lot of work to do, but it is encouraging to know that there is a growing level of support, and we will continue to be active in the local Green Party.

Several new members have joined in the Exmouth area recently and we have regular meetings.
