MORE than 300 was raised for comic relief by a quartet of talented schoolgirls in Otterton last Friday.

Girls Aloud tribute band Out of Control - Saski Farington, 12, Emily Yeomans, 12, Sophie Seager, 14 and 15 year old Charlotte Yeomans - took to the stage at The Kings Arms, Otterton.

The idea was dreamt up by the girls themselves who planned, penned, choreographed and arranged the entire show single handedly in their bid to assist the fundraising.

They belted out popular numbers such as Love Machine and No Good Advice and finished the evening with emotional ballad "I'll Stand By You". The evening was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, raising over 300.
