AN all-female workforce has proven their mettle by fixing up a school children's play area in a job no man had put up his hand for.A new woodland area at All Saints Pre-School had been planned for more than a year - with no help offered - when staff decided to get on with the job themselves.Assistance from Laura Pring at King's Nursery got the ball rolling as a team of six ladies cleared the woodland area, and shipped in 30 bags of woodchip for laying.Mrs Pring said: "It's taken us one hour to do what no man could do in a year!"All Saints play leader Kathryn Jones thanked King's for jumping to the aid of the staff. The pre-school, which raised funds for the new area themselves, hope to cover the play section with a wooden gazebo.
