Protestors formed a ‘conga cordon’ at the weekend against plans to redevelop Exmouth seafront.

Campaign group Save Exmouth Seafront (SES) organised the demonstration against East Devon District Council’s plans for new buildings and leisure facilities on Queen’s Drive, and the impending closure of Exmouth Fun Park and the Harbour View Café later this year.

Following the conga around the area threatened with redevelopment, SES members set up information tables and spoke to members of the public about the plans.

For more details and reaction to the protest, see Thursday’s Exmouth Journal.
