More than £800 was raised at Exmouth Tennis & Fitness Centre’s fifth Children in Need fundraiser.

Fundraisers took part in a ‘Mini Red Tournament’ for adults, a cardio-tennis triples tournament, circuit training and all-night tennis.

A Mad Kids’ Party, with cakes baked by LED’s Ruth, was also held, as were several competitions included guessing the amount of tennis balls in the trolley for a month’s free gym membership.

A luxury food and drink hamper raffle draw, with contents donated by the staff, was also on offer.

Centre manager Jo Louis said: “What an awesome turnout; everyone had so much fun. It’s getting bigger and better every year, and is turning into a fantastic annual event.

“We would like to thank everyone who took part.

“With everyone’s help we managed to raise a whopping £800.”
