EXMOUTH residents are being asked to take part in a door-to-door charity fundraiser.

Scope, the cerebral palsy charity, need residents to collect small change as part of their annual 'House to House' collection which takes place in Yelverton next month (April 9-27).

All collectors are asked to do is pop a blue and yellow envelope through doors on your street and collect them a few days later.

Scope's Supporter Development Manager Henry Rowling said:

"House-to-house fundraising - or putting envelopes through the doors of people- is a really simple, quick and easy way to raise money for our vital work to help support disabled people.

"The money raised will support Scope's work with disabled people, including its Scope Response service which offers free information and advice to disabled people and their families."

Every volunteer collector who takes part will be given a collection pack, which includes identification and a step-by-step guide on what to do.
