BUDLEIGH Salterton's yummy mummies were out in force to support Carousel Childcare's fundraising day in aid of CLIC Sargent.The day care centre, next to St Peter's Primary School, organised a pyjama-wearing day for staff and children to raise much-needed funds for the cause.The organisers want to thank everyone who gave their support after their efforts raised more than £150 for the cancer charity.Carousel spokesman Emily Kitchen said the money raised as a result of National Yummy Mummy Week would make a huge difference to the 10 children and young people diagnosed with cancer or leukemia every day in the UK, and their families. She said: "National Yummy Mummy Week was about celebrating motherhood and having some plain and simple fun with friends and families.
