A CANCER charity has produced a fuel costs fact sheet for cancer patients to help save money on their energy bills.

Macmillan Cancer Support has identified cancer patients as being the most vulnerable to fuel poverty, where more than 10 per cent of income is spent on fuel at home.

The fact sheet contains information and tips as well as questions to ask energy suppliers to make sure patients get the best deal.

People over 60 are also entitled to winter fuel payment from the government.
