EXMOUTH'S expanding community radio station, Bay FM, needs a new home - and is looking for new premises.

According to the owners, BFM is going from strength to strength with a growing audience listening to its broad array of local music, talent, news, views, churches, industry, leisure, culture and retail throughout the Exmouth area.

But as a result of their success they are looking for new premises and a spokesman said: "Bay FM is looking for new premises in which to base their studios during this exciting new era. If anyone knows of suitable rooms that could accommodate us please contact us."

He added that ideally the station needed a 4,500sq ft space that could be partitioned into rooms - a basement would be ideal with its own access for two main studios, and one training/editing room.

They also need one small room to house the transmission and necessary equipment and reception area.

He said they would be willing to pay discounted rent or accept the premises as donation as sponsorship for the station, and would also need 24 hour access with it's own entrance, electricity and water, telephone and broadband points and access to toilets.

If you can help call BFM on: (07772) 947199 or email.
