Freemasons and their families from Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton picked up their Hi-Viz jackets and reported for duty in the bid to vaccinate people against Covid-19.
At centres in Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth and at Westpoint Exeter, Freemasons can be found carrying out whatever duties are required by their NHS organisers.
The Provincial Grand Master Ian Kingsbury JP. said how proud he was to see members of his own organisation, some of whom are vulnerable themselves, prepared to give their time to such a worthy endeavour.
He thanked ‘each and every one of them’ who has so generously given up their time to help, not only the NHS who are administering the vaccinations but the elderly members of our community.
Mr Kingsbury added: “The vaccination programme is going to be in operation for several months and Freemasonry is committed to be there supporting the NHS and their local communities for all the time required.”
