“Christmas Day at Open Door is such a special day. If you’re finding Christmas hard this year for whatever reason and would benefit from a free meal and some friendly company on Christmas Day, we’d love to see you.”

The Open Door Centre is once again hosting a free traditional Christmas Day meal, for anyone who finds themselves without Christmas Day plans who would like to share a meal with others.

The day will start at 11.30am for those who would like to start Christmas Day with a time of reflection and remembrance of loved ones, and for all others the doors will open at 11.45am.

There will be carol singing and presents, followed by a three course dinner including turkey with all the trimmings or a vegetarian alternative.

After lunch there will be an opportunity to socialise, play board games or to simply relax.

If you would like to attend, email or call 01395 224218, or you can call into the Open Door Community Café, between 9.30am and 3pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to add your name to the sign up sheet.
