TEMPLE Methodist Church Adventure Group is hosting a free Christian rock band concert on Friday February 6.
The group performing is from Exeter, and the evening, from 7.30pm-9pm, will include music, visuals, games and words.
Admittance is free. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
In July 2008 a party of eight adventure group members went to a Christian young people's gathering in Derbyshire with more than 2000 other youngsters.
While there they were challenged to enter a competition to raise at least �250 for Action for Children, by offering an XBOX as the prize.
The Budleigh youngsters chose to hold an auction of talents - each member offering a different skill, including gardening, car washing, cooking and cake making, art and photography, dog walking, window cleaning, Christmas present wrapping, computer tuition.
Bidding at the auction was lively and in excess of �380 was raised for Action for Children.
Their efforts were rewarded at the end of 2008 when they heard they had won the competition.
