Former Marine collects MBE

A former Royal Marine who now works at Bicton College has collected his MBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.

Major Dai Phillips was honoured in recognition of the work he did over three years to improve the Royal Marines’ system of Basic Training system.

Major Phillips said: “Following the announcement of the award last June, it was a real privilege and honour for both my family and I to receive the award from HRH the Prince of Wales.”

Major Phillips runs the new Military and Public Services course at Bicton.
