Creative help is needed to design and make lamppost coverings for the forthcoming summer Exmouth Art Trail.

Volunteers are also sought to make 12-foot-tall flowers and graffiti-style large banners and boards.

Art trail organiser, artist Anna Fitzgerald, of Sea Dog Art Gallery, Gussiford Lane, is keen to hear from people with ideas and projects they would like included in this year’s trail.

She said: “The trail is about fun and everyone joining in. It’s free and anything goes.

“All training will be given. Everyone can join in - you don’t need to be on the trail.”

● On Saturday, February 4, at the Exmouth Market Association, The Strand, people are invited to turn up and make love hearts and bunting for a February 14 Love Bomb event, organised by Marina Martland, where hearts will decorate the town. The decorations will later be donated to the art trail.
