We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the people of Budleigh Salterton for their help and support following the flooding of our house last Thursday. To list all names would take forever, so here is a summary: The Fire and Rescue Service, the Police, especially Chantalle Major, Brenda Peskin of Age Concern, and Brian and Lorraine at the Long Range Hotel. Last and not least, our many good friends and neighbours who have offered us their support and the many, many people of Budleigh who have sympathised with us. You have all shown what a special place our town is - and helped us through a most distressing time. Neville and Maureen Lister,1 Granary Lane,Budleigh Salterton.
