Firefighters tackle Exmouth blaze

FOUR fire crews are tackling a blaze at R and R Motors in Victoria Way, Exmouth, which the fire service has described as being well alight.
FOUR fire crews are tackling a blaze at R and R Motors in Victoria Way, Exmouth, which the fire service has described as being well alight.
The police have evacuated the immediate area as there are acetylene cylinders on the premises.
Firefighters are using thermal imaging equipment to monitor the temperature of the cylinders.
Four water jets are being used to try to bring the fire under control.

The first call to Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was made at around 1pm and it has since received many more.
There is a lot of smoke in the area and reports of explosions.
