Firefighters called to fire in Lympstone

Fire crews were called out this morning to a fire at a home in Lympstone.

Two fire appliances from Exmouth and one from Middlemoor attended the incident, which occurred in Jubilee Grove, at 10.14am.

On arrival, crews confirmed there was a small fire involving cooking within the ground floor kitchen of a domestic property.

Firefighters removed a pan to the open air using breathing apparatus, and extinguished the fire.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
