Families are being invited to have fun and help charities at a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service open day.

The event is being held at service headquarters at Clyst St George on Sunday, August 7, between 10am and 4pm.

It will raise money for Exmouth and Lympstone Hospiscare and the Fire Fighters’ Charity.

Activities and entertainment on offer will include safety advice and demonstrations, a barbecue, face painting, the brigade band, a vintage fire engine, climbing wall, bouncy castle, and birds of prey.
