Fire service called to Exmouth town centre shop

Fire crews were called out yesterday afternoon (Sunday) to reports of a smell of burning coming from a light fitting at a shop in Exmouth.

The call was received at 2.32pm.

One fire appliance from Exmouth Fire Station attended.

On arrival at the shop, in Chapel Street, firefighters isolated the electrical supply and made the light fitting safe.
