Fire service called to collision in Clyst St George

Fire crews were called to attend a road traffic collision in Clyst St George.

The incident happened on Woodbury Road yesterday (Thursday) at 6.41pm.

On arrival firefighters confirmed two vehicles were involved and one male was still within one of the vehicles.

Crews released the male using hydraulic cutting equipment.

South Western Ambulance Service and Devon and Cornwall Police also attended.

A police spokesperson said the incident involved a Ford Transit van and a Mitsubishi L200 pick-up, and two people were treated for minor injuries.
