Firefighters have been tackling the major blaze that is on Woodbury Common.
Police have urged the public to avoid the Woodbury area as they close the B3180 between the Halfway Inn and Four Firs.
Iva Kathi has sent in these photos of the area with the sky tinted orange from the flames and smoke that can be seen from miles around.
