Firefighters were alerted at 6.46am on Sunday, October 11, by a call which stated that a water main had burst on Pound Lane, and was ‘causing a danger to the public and to traffic’.
One fire appliance was sent to the incident from Exmouth Fire Station.
On arrival, crews cordoned off the burst water main and requested the immediate attendance of a South West Water team.
