AN Exmouth-funded film, shot by young people from all around Devon, will have the final scenes shot at a gig to next week.

The Revival 2009 is a short film and gig rolled into and one funded by Exmouth's "Magnolia Incentive Scheme" with support from Exeter Phoenix, Exmouth Festival and Chew TV.

It has allowed young people opportunities in all areas of filmmaking; directing, producing, camera work, lighting, sound, costume and set design.

The film was shot in and around Exmouth and Exeter over eight days during the Easter period.

The few final scenes for the film will be shot live on the night of the gig on Friday May 1.

The gig at Exmouth Pavilion will feature Exmouth and Exeter acts including The Sunshine Getaway, Letters to Leaders, Incommunicado, Terrible Strangers, Ajax, The Supreme Beings and Bromley.

Spokesman Will Shutt said: "The project has gone from strength to strength.

"It has seen young people from all over Devon come together to collaborate with their creative and practical talents.

"The purpose is to help support and establish local musical talents by offering services in events and tour management, promotional campaigns, live and studio recordings, music videos and photography." .

As well as film production the project has supported and worked together with Exeter based "Divine Bookings and Promotions", once again run by young people,
