Festive upset

PUBLISHED: 12:29 09 December 2011

I am shocked and appalled at the lack of Christmas lights in Exmouth this year.

Just when I thought that Exmouth could not disappoint me any further, I see a picture in the Christmas magazine which came with an edition of The Journal, which clearly shows Exmouth’s Christmas lights (sorry, non-existent Christmas lights).

The council are constantly preaching about people coming to shop in Exmouth and bettering the town to achieve this. Because of the lack of Christmas lights and festivities, I shall now be shopping anywhere but here and I am sure that other people will be feeling the same.
