A FINAL farewell charity gig in tribute to popular East Devon folk singer Viva Smith who died last spring is being held at Lympstone Village Hall on December 12.
A FINAL farewell charity gig in tribute to popular East Devon folk singer Viva Smith who died last spring is being held at Lympstone Village Hall on December 12.
The surviving members of Dangerous Curves, Anne Rickard and Jen Ingersoll bring together their various musical backgrounds of country, traditional and jazz at one last gig.
The gig will have the usual ingredients of familiar, new and humorous songs, with the Dangerous Curves singing with a special guest.
Funds raised will go to Weldmar Hospiscare Trust, and other supporting acts will include folk and Rock 'n Roller Shep Woolley and The Amazing Mr Smith, who is described as Monty Python's Answer to John Williams.
Graham Martin said: "They are fantastic they are really good, very enjoyable and everybody who has heard them loves them.
"They have been really popular at the Exmouth Festival for three years and in a way it's sad that this is their last concert.
"You won't get another chance to see them perform."
Doors open at 7pm, tickets are �12 and a Dangerous Curves double CD will be on every seat.
