Brixington Primary School pupils turned teachers when the youngsters gave a helping hand to pensioners keen to learn more about computers.
The year 6 children took part in the nationwide Silver Surfers' Day in a bid to highlight the use of technology among the elderly.
The pupils showed the pensioners how to explore the internet and other forms of digital technology.
Brixington Primary School teacher Nicki Wood said: "As a school we felt very fortunate to be involved in this exciting event.
"The experience has proved to be rewarding for all involved and has offered our children the chance to develop their coaching skills; as well as encouraging engagement between the children and the elderly.
