CALLS are being made by Littleham residents for a community hall to be built to aid young people.
Littleham's police team has revealed how a member of the Glenorchy Church congregation spoke out at the recent Littleham Together general meeting about proposals for Tesco to build a church or community centre to replace the existing building.
Police community support officer Nikki Payne said: "She asked if the panel and residents' association would support a community hall to include a separate place for worship.
"Most people attending the meeting were in favour of this idea if it were to be directed towards the young people of Littleham.
