A PROACTIVE charity supporter from Exmouth is taking part in an 18-month-long fundraising programme which ends with a nine day trek of the Great Wall of China.
Julie McCracken, an NHS nurse who lives and works in Exmouth, will embark on a number of fundraising events spanning 18 months to raise money for WaterAid.
The charity is an international, non-governmental organisation whose mission is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.
Julie would like to raise at least 3,000.
One of her fundraising efforts is raffling tickets, priced 1 each, for Show of Hands at the Exmouth Pavilion on May 16.
If you would like to buy a ticket or help Julie in any way, call 07969455767.
