Exmouth train use up

TEN per cent more passengers used the Exmouth to Exeter railway last year - bucking the trends of other similarly-sized branch lines.

TEN per cent more passengers used the Exmouth to Exeter railway last year - bucking the trends of other similarly-sized branch lines.

Members of the Exmouth Public Transport Partnership were told that the increase in use was partly to do with car parking charges in Exeter.

The Avocet line also saw time keeping at 96 per cent while a new information system was soon to be in place at Exmouth Station.
