Exmouth teenage biker dies

AN Exmouth motorcyclist left fighting for life after the motorcycle he was riding ploughed into a row of parked cars and a stone wall at Montpellier Road on Saturday night has died.

AN Exmouth motorcyclist left fighting for life after the motorcycle he was riding ploughed into a row of parked cars and a stone wall at Montpellier Road on Saturday night has died.

The man, named locally as Timothy Cockett, was believed to have been on a life support machine at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, suffering from serious head and internal injuries following a collision at the Montpellier Road junction with Church Street and Albion Hill shortly after 10pm on Saturday night.

It is thought the 18-year-old died last night.

Floral tributes have been placed at the spot where the accident occurred.
