EXMOUTH'S swimming pool has signed a five-year deal promising to improve and develop swimming skills to national levels.
Leisure East Devon, which manages Exmouth Swimming and Leisure Centre has singed an agreement with the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) to deliver the National Plan for Teaching Swimming as well as the Kellogg's ASA Awards.
The agreement means the pool staff, which is home to Exmouth Swimming Club, will be committed to developing and improving swimming teaching in Exmouth, in line with national standards.
Pool manager Peter Binks said: "A long-term agreement with the ASA is good news for everybody who swims at the pool.
"It will mean that we're constantly able to improve our swimming teaching and use the latest industry standards to make sure that we're offering the best possible service.
