STUDENTS have organised the first ever Fairtrade sale at their school.
Tasked with organising the sale from scratch, the youngsters, from Exmouth Community College, rose to the challenge.
Tony Alexander, principal of the college, said: “I am delighted to see students taking a high profile role in promoting Fairtrade.”
In separate sales to staff and students, they offered a range of products including cookies, geobars, locally produced fudge and coffee.
Students were encouraged to see the sale as a way of supporting farmers, rather than a fund-raising event.
