The children were given the chance to perform at the Devon County Show.

The school’s orchestra kicked things off with two pieces, before the school’s year five and six choir sang Let’s Dance, Rock Around The Clock and Let’s Twist Again.

The school’s performing then concluded with a Jailhouse Rock dance by year four pupils.

School governor Jan Harper Shea said: “It was a wonderful performance by all of the children and their dedication in practising routines and learning words paid off in superb show.”

After their on-stage performances were done, the children were free to enjoy the rest of the show, with experiences including rugby training with Exeter Chiefs, making bread and butter at the show’s children’s farm, camouflage face painting, and climbing with the armed forces.

Jan added: “It was a great day enjoyed by all.”
