Pupils from Marpool Primary School learned about local banking and business when the youngsters went on a high street walkabout around Exmouth.
The children spoke to business owners, discussed future job hopes and learned how banks work.
Raj Panesar, TSB Exmouth bank manager, said: “We talked about what they want to do when they are older and how a bank helps people in the local community buy houses, and is somewhere their pay goes.
“They also got to see the big safe, from a distance, and listen to money coming out of the ATM; they were really excited about this.”
