Marpool Primary School is holding a jumble sale this Saturday. Read this and more.

FUNDRAISER: Marpool Primary School is holding a jumble sale this Saturday.

It takes place in the school hall between 2pm and 3.15pm.

Quality clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, games and books including a large selection of adult fiction will be available, along with refreshments.

Admission will cost 20p, and all profits will go to the school PTA fund.


GREEN LIGHT: Plans to demolish and replace a Woodbury Salterton home have been approved by East Devon District Council.

The plan, for Braddicks, had previously been supported by Woodbury Parish Council.


SILENCE: A host of quality bargains are up for grabs at the Magnolia WI’s silent auction, on Saturday, March 16, from 10am until 11.30am, at All Saints Church hall, in Exeter Road. Admission is free.

There will also be a draw, cakes and refreshments. All are welcome.


PROPOSAL: Plans have been submitted to build two detached homes with garages in Exmouth.

The plan is for land to the rear of Timberlawn in Littlemead Lane. Exmouth Town Council will now consider the plan, before East Devon District Council makes the final decision.
