NOMINATIONS are being sought in Exmouth for Devon County Council’s annual Community Transport Heroes.
The Council is searching for staff and volunteers who have shown dedication to community transport and those shortlisted will be invited to this year’s ceremony at Larkbeare House, Exeter on Friday, June 3.
Awards include ‘Most Innovative Project’, ‘Outstanding People Development’ and ‘Outstanding Lifetime Contribution’.
Councillor Stuart Hughes, Devon County Council Cabinet Member for Highways and Transportation said:
“Staff and volunteers work tirelessly to help make a difference to the lives of thousands of people in our county, so we would like as many people as possible to come forward with their nominations to recognize these efforts.”
Anyone working in the community transport sector can be nominated but nominations need to be submitted before Saturday, April 30.
