Exmouth’s Repair Café returns on Saturday, November 4 in Tower Street Methodist church, from 10am to 1pm.

You’re encouraged to bring along something that’s broken from home, and the café’s volunteer repairers will help fix it.

It could be a toy, clothing (repairs not alterations), an electrical item (not microwaves or electric blankets), jewellery or a small piece of furniture. Advice will be given and refreshments are available.

“Even if you don’t have anything in need of fixing, you are welcome to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee, a piece of homemade cake or a bacon bap,” says organiser Jean Holden. “Our pianist, Jenny, tickles the ivories for your enjoyment!”

For this Café session, the volunteers will be joined by members of Exmouth in Bloom. They’ll be selling their 2018 calendar for £5, plus note cards, home-made preserves and shopping bags.
