Exmouth's first ever support group for coeliac sufferers swings into action

EXMOUTH'S first meeting for people suffering from coeliac disease is being held at Withycombe Rugby Club, in Hulham Road, at 7pm on Wednesday October 29.

EXMOUTH'S first meeting for people suffering from coeliac disease is being held at Withycombe Rugby Club, in Hulham Road, at 7pm on Wednesday October 29.

Coeliac disease is an auto-immune condition where the body attacks itself.

Sufferers are unable to digest gluten, which is found in wheat, rye and barley.

The Exmouth group plans to raise awareness of the disease and funds, to help improve the lives of sufferers.
