Exmouth’s children back Pudsey in annual fundraiser

FROM croissants and homemade cakes to wearing fancy dress, pyjamas, coloured spots and having a superhero day, Exmouth’s schoolchildren relished the chance to help Pudsey on BBC Children in Need day.
Not only that but a triumphant team of toddlers also rode their trikes through Phear Park.
And while all the frantic fundraising was happening on Friday, some schools took the opportunity to combine the charity day with other events.
Littleham Primary School saw the grand opening of a £4,000 wooden “Imagination House”, with Exmouth’s mayor snipping the ribbon. Elsewhere, there were joint campaigns for Breast Cancer Research and Operation Christmas Child.
Donations are still rolling in, but it’s already a record year for Pudsey, with Exmouth’s children definitely doing their bit.
