A FEMALE runner was rescued by firefighters after being trapped within a treadmill.
The incident happened at around 1.45pm on Monday, September 14, in South Street.
Shortly after arriving at the property, a fire crew managed to release the female.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire Service said she had slipped on the treadmill and it was a nasty accident.
The woman was taken away by paramedics.
