A GROUP of brave Exmouth Royal Marines are to compete in a channel-crossing kitesurfing challenge.
The marines will attempt to surf 70 nautical miles across the busy shipping lane from Alderney in the Channel Islands to Poole, Dorset, to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity, later this year.
Help for Heroes, founded in 2007, is a charity for British servicemen and women wounded in conflicts.
