Exmouth Round Table is appealing for people to support its events so the charity can continue to support local groups. The Round Table’s next event is the firework display on November 5 at Exmouth Rugby Club.
Exmouth Round Table chairman Jason Bund said the donation had been made possible thanks to successful fund raising events.
Mr Bund said: “Fund raising events such as the forthcoming spectacular fireworks display on November 5th at Exmouth Rugby Club determines how many local community groups and projects can be supported throughout the year.
“Therefore we need people to pay at the gates and enter the event to ensure that this event can continue.”
Every penny raised by Round Table goes back into the local community, Mr Bund added.
