THE EFFORT of Rotary clubs in supporting a campaign design to help eradicate polio has been hailed as a success.
The Rotary Club of Exmouth, the Exmouth Raleigh Rotary Clubs and Dr Billy Willcock, who works at the Rolle Medical Practice, have helped raised �1,945, which will go towards an End Polio Now Campaign.
Mr Willcock took part in the Paris Marathon to raise money. He completed the course in a creditable three hours, 48 minutes.
Rotarians worldwide are matching generous gifts to the tune of $200,000,000 to eradicate the disease.
