Exmouth fundraisers have given a helping hand to Devon’s airborne lifesavers.

The Rotary Club of Exmouth Raleigh has presented a cheque to the value of £1,200 to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT).

The club made the donation to the air ambulance, which took place at its office in Exeter, as it was the chosen charity of outgoing club president Jan Eamer for the year 2016 to 2017.

The donation will help to fund essential equipment for the service, some of which is pictured.

Rotary Club member Dick Francis said: “The good news for Devon Air Ambulance is that incoming president Gordon Parker has also selected them as one of his chosen charities for the Rotary year 2017 to 2018, and so continued support by Rotary to this vital service will continue.”
