A GROUP dedicated to keeping Exmouth tidy were hard at work on Saturday picking up rubbish from Brixington.
A Brixington Improvement Group (BIG) survey recently found litter to be in the top three concerns affecting residents living in the Brixington area.
With this in mind BIG and the Exmouth Tidy Group, local councillors, members of Brixington Community Church, Brixington Neighbourhood Watch and the area's police community support officer rolled up their sleeves and took part in a community litter pick, focussing on Brixington Park.
The group concentrated on Brixington Field, Spiders Lane and Churchill Road - collecting eight bags of rubbish in an hour.
