Exmouth's lifeboat station will again open its doors to the public and show what they do to save lives at sea.

People will be able to see Exmouth RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat – the R and J Welburn – as well as its inshore lifeboat and other equipment on Sunday (August 26).

Volunteers crew members – call-outs permitting – will also be on hand as will the fundraisers and other staff who make it possible for Exmouth RNLI to save lives at sea.

Guided tours of the Queen’s Drive station will also be held throughout the day and the shop will also be open.

The station RNLI community safety officer will be available to answer any questions and give general water safety advice.

There will also be a hot dog/burger bar available together with other refreshments such as tea, coffee and cake provided by RNLI volunteers.

The lifeboat station will be open from 10am until 4pm.
