EXMOUTH RNLI inshore lifeboat (ILB) crew this week rescued a speedboat, which ran aground with one person aboard.
The 18-foot Fletcher speedboat became stuck on the riverbed just off Exmouth seafront.
Exmouth National Coastwatch Institution kept watch on the vessel and alerted Brixham Coastguard once it was established the boat was stuck.
The Exmouth ILB crew towed the boat and its occupant back to Mamhead Slipway.
