FOUR elderly people were on Sunday afternoon rescued by Exmouth RNLI when their sailing dingy capsized in water near Powderham.

The alarm was raised by Kevin Chaloner, driving Stuart Line's Pride of Exmouth.

After Exmouth RNLI righted the capsized boat it brought two pensioners ashore while the other two were returned by a passing vessel.
